HomeCo Membership Costs: Two People, Families and Whole Homes

HomeCo’s displayed GBP prices are £2.99 monthly or £29.99 annually per Housemate, and £9.99 monthly or £89.99 annually for one Whole Home. Check your store’s final terms.

Can one membership cover everyone in a family?

Yes. Whole Home is the membership designed for one payer to cover invited members of exactly one home. Covered members do not need their own personal payment for that covered home. Coverage does not spread across several homes.

Housemate covers one person’s access. It does not sponsor another resident. When comparing options, count the people who need access and check whether the intended home type is compatible with each person’s membership, Student status or trial.

The two-person arithmetic

At the GBP prices displayed on HomeCo’s official website on 16 October 2026, two separate Housemate memberships total £5.98 per month or £59.98 per year. Whole Home is £9.99 per month or £89.99 per year.

For two eligible people comparing those same billing periods, the displayed total for two Housemate memberships is lower by £4.01 monthly or £30.01 annually. Whole Home may still be the desired arrangement when one person wants to cover the invited home. The two options have different coverage structures; do not compare the price without checking who will join.

Monthly and annual totals are separate purchase choices. Do not describe an annual subscription’s monthly equivalent as a monthly payment plan. Local store prices, currency and final purchase terms control the actual charge.

How household size changes the comparison

Three Housemate memberships total £8.97 monthly or £89.97 annually at those displayed prices. Four total £11.96 monthly or £119.96 annually. Whole Home remains the displayed £9.99 monthly or £89.99 annual option for its one covered home.

These are simple membership-cost calculations, not a guarantee of account eligibility, supported household size or an unlimited-member promise. Confirm the current in-app setup and terms for the actual group. Do not purchase separate memberships first and assume a later change automatically refunds them.

Student and trial access have home-type restrictions

The website says verification of a recognised university email gives one year of Student access. Student members may create or join Student homes, or join a home covered by an active Whole Home membership. They cannot create or join a Housemate home.

The 14-day trial requires no card and does not automatically convert to a paid membership. During the trial, a person can create and use their trial home or join an active Whole Home-covered home, but cannot join a Housemate or Student home. Check these joining rules before inviting a mixed group.

Renewal, cancellation and account deletion

Paid memberships auto-renew through Apple or Google until cancelled in that store’s subscription settings. Deleting a HomeCo account does not cancel its store subscription. Access normally continues to the end of the paid period, and refunds are handled under the store’s rules and applicable law.

Before paying, confirm the covered home, billing period, local total, renewal terms and the account that will manage the subscription. If changing from separate memberships to Whole Home, verify the transition with the current app or support rather than assuming cancellations or credits happen automatically.

What to check before inviting the family

Confirm that the chosen plan covers the intended home and that invited people meet the service’s account requirements. A store age rating alone does not establish child-account eligibility. Younger children can use an adult-managed physical chore chart while adults coordinate the household.

For the latest public membership information, use HomeCo’s official site and the final in-app store screen. The amounts above are a dated GBP comparison; they should not be treated as a universal price across countries or future versions.
